The day's route

The main difference is that having discovered the route the day before, the drivers and riders will be able to use the experience acquired from their first effort to go for all out attack. Besides, those who want to, or who still can climb up the general standings will be obliged to attack, because this is the last big special before the finishing line.
As for the terrain, there is little change with a route that will still be very quick but will again include some off-road and other much more technical sections, in particular a wooded section where the competitors will have to keep their eyes open to watch out for the bears present in the area. Furthermore, the state of the track could have suffered after the previous day’s special due to rain.
It should be noted that the trucks, like the day before, will not take part in the same second special as the other competitors, but a 54-km long loop that will follow the route of the day’s first special.
