Jozef Augustyns: “A few day of respite to enjoy myself”
Two years after a successful first appearance, Jozef Augustyns will again answer the call of the Dakar. Like in 2005, he will take off alongside one of his best friends, René Backx. That year, the two Belgians had managed a fine performance by finishing in 70th and 73rd positions of the overall standing for their first experience. Jozef Augustyns, head of a company in the area of Antwerp comes with no real pressure other than the one he puts on his own shoulders to once again finish the Dakar.
